Terms & Conditions

1. Website Use and Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, submitting a form, registering for a class, purchasing a service, or participating in training provided by Hawaii Guard Card, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. You must provide complete and accurate registration information and use this website only for lawful purposes.

All website content, course materials, videos, documents, graphics, branding, and training resources are owned by or licensed to Hawaii Guard Card. They may not be copied, recorded, reproduced, distributed, resold, or used to provide competing training without prior written permission.

We may update website content, course availability, prices, instructors, schedules, locations, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. We may also refuse service, cancel a registration, or remove a participant whose behavior is disruptive, threatening, dishonest, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate.

2. Class Registration, Payments and Attendance

Class registration is not confirmed until all required information and payment have been received. Unless otherwise stated during booking, payments are nonrefundable. Requests to reschedule must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled class and are subject to availability. Late cancellations, missed classes, and failure to arrive on time may result in the loss of the registration fee.

Participants must attend the complete class, follow instructor directions, participate appropriately, and complete all required course activities before receiving a training certificate. Hawaii Guard Card may withhold a certificate when attendance, payment, identification, participation, or course requirements have not been completed.

Completing a training course does not guarantee approval of a Hawaii guard employee registration, employment, acceptance by an employer, or approval by any government agency. Applicants remain responsible for completing all additional applications, background checks, fees, documents, and government requirements. The State of Hawaii identifies the training certificate as only one part of the guard employee application process.

Business and group training may be subject to additional written proposals, payment requirements, cancellation terms, minimum attendance requirements, travel charges, and scheduling conditions.

3. Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability and Governing Law

Training and website information are provided for educational and informational purposes. Although we work to provide accurate and current information, Hawaii Guard Card does not guarantee that all website content, government requirements, schedules, third-party links, or outside information will always be complete, current, or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hawaii Guard Card and its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-income damages arising from website use, class participation, scheduling changes, third-party services, government decisions, employment decisions, or a participant’s failure to satisfy licensing requirements. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchased class or service will not exceed the amount paid for that specific class or service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

We may cancel or reschedule training because of instructor illness, emergencies, severe weather, facility issues, government action, technical problems, or circumstances outside our reasonable control. When this occurs, our responsibility will be limited to offering a replacement date, account credit, or refund at our discretion.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in the State of Hawaii. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
